Recipe from Shelley
Yay, thank you Shelley for sharing your first recipe. Although I'm a little scared because it's CORN PUDDING. Seriously? Well, here it is:
I had this dish at a church this summer and got the recipe yesterday.
I just made it, and yum! I PROMISE, this is rediculously wonderful.
Corn Pudding
1 #Pkg (16 oz) Yellow frozen corn (I like Green Giant Extra Sweet Corn)
1 #Pkg (16 Oz) White frozen corn
1 8oz Cream Cheese
¼ Cup Sugar
1 Stick of Butter
Melt the butter, cream cheese, and sugar together. Fold in the corn and heat through.

Making this one for supper tonight so I'm posting it too. Then I'll wait for a few from you before I add any more.
Taco Bake
Brown 2 lbs hamburger with 1/2 cup of onion
drain grease and add 2 packages of taco seasoning but only put in enough water for one package
simmer for 5 min
stir in one 16 oz container of sour cream
spray glass casserole dish with Pam(I use a bigger one 9x13 I think)
press in 1 can of crescent roll dough (Pillsbury works much better)
sprinkle about a cup of crushed tortilla chips onto the dough
spread hamburger mixture on top
cover with 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
sprinkle more crushed tortilla chips on top of the cheese
bake at 350 about 15-20 min until the crust is golden
take out of oven and top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, and taco sauce
or whatever else you like
mmm this sounds really good now. I'm glad it will be ready in a half hour!

Wow, I forgot about this thing. Four months and I've written nothing. I'm going to post some recipes on here and I want some in return. I know some of you have good casserole recipes, or quick ideas for supper. Maybe some soup or chili recipes (Andrea). So send me your recipes PLEASE cause I'm getting sick of the same old stuff and I'll post them on here for everyone else to try. Dig through your giant recipe box Shelley!
