I always forget I even have this blog. I should actually use it.

OOps, when I posted the recipe I forgot this part:

After I had Elody someone brought us this meal. We all loved it so I asked for the recipe. I haven’t gotten the exact recipe but she told me what was in it and I tried to recreate it. Based on similar recipes I found on the internet and the ingredients I was told this is what I have come up with. -Sara
New recipe from Sara

You will need:
Rotini
Cottage Cheese 1 cup
Cream Cheese 1 package softened
Sour Cream 1 Cup
Dried Basil (I just shake some in, I don’t know how much)
Green Onion (I chopped up 3 or 4, it depends on your personal preference)
Green pepper, finely chopped (I used a half of a green pepper I think)
Spaghetti sauce (1 jar, we added ground beef and I also added some chopped onion)

Cook the rotini and set aside
combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, basil, green onion, and green pepper
mix ground beef and onion into spaghetti sauce if desired
put rotini in a casserole dish
pour creamy mixture on top of rotini
pour spaghetti sauce on the top
bake for 30 min at 350°

Another Recipe

OK I'm making this for supper and I know this is a common one but I love my recipe. I always eat too much. So if you haven't had this lately or you don't like regular tuna and noodles (like me) try this one. Super creamy and cheesy! Another one my mom used to make (do you remember this one Sara?)

Cheesy Tuna Noodles
I usually double this recipe cause I like to have leftovers.

3 cups dry noodles (broad egg noodles work best)
1 can tuna in water
1/2 cup miracle whip
1 cup chopped celery
1/3 c onion (i use dry onion)
1/2 tsp salt
1 can cream of celery soup (use campbells, generic is gross)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup velveeta (yes, use velveeta not american)

cook up your noodles and then drain. Pour them in a 2 quart corningware dish. Stir in tuna, onion, salt, mayo, and celery. In a sauce pan combine cream of celery, milk and velveeta. heat over low-med heat until cheese all melts, keep stiring so it doesn't burn. Then pour over the noodle mix and stir it up. Pop it in the oven for about 20 min. on 425. Then call me and let me know what your husband thinks Shelley!

1 c. black olives, sliced 1 bag chili flavored Fritos, crushed
1 Green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped

Mix corn, cheese, vegetables and mayonnaise tother. Right before serving, add Fritos.
